Light that looks real
HDR rendering with physically based lighting. The sun follows a real path from sunrise to sunset and into a moonlit night, with bloom on the bright spots and proper exposure in the shade.
Weather and time of day
Rain, snow, fog and thunderstorms with lightning and thunder that arrives after the flash. Wet ground, puddles in the ruts, snow that you cut ruts through, and moonlit night rides.
Roost, dust and tracks
Every wheel throws what it rides on: dust clouds off dry dirt, roost off the berms, mud, spray and snow. Tyre tracks press into the dirt and fade slowly.
Real-time shadows
Bikes, riders and trackside objects cast soft shadows onto the track and each other.
Atmosphere and grass
Distance haze, fog, light rays through the trees, and 3D grass growing on the trackside grass.
Clean image
MSAA plus temporal anti-aliasing for shimmer-free fences, trees and ground.

Requirements
- A registered copy of MX Simulator on Windows.
- OpenGL 4.6 graphics. Most NVIDIA and AMD cards from about 2013 on, and recent Intel graphics. Keep your driver up to date.
- Internet once, on the first launch. After that it works offline.

Compatibility
Does it work online and on race servers?
Yes. MXS Reborn only changes how the game is drawn on your screen. Physics, timing, your bike and the game's files and memory are untouched.
Will it lower my FPS?
On an RTX 3070 Ti at 1080p, MXS Reborn costs 2 to 3 ms per frame, and the game stays at its 124 FPS cap on every preset, even Ultra. Slower cards can use the Performance, Balanced or Quality presets in the F8 menu, and any effect can be switched off.
Will antivirus or Windows flag it?
Some antivirus tools are cautious about any opengl32.dll in a game folder, because files that load into games can be misused. MXS Reborn only draws graphics. If your antivirus quarantines it, restore it and add an exception for your MX Simulator folder, or contact us.
How do I uninstall it?
Delete opengl32.dll from your MX Simulator folder. The game is back to normal immediately.
Buying and your copy
Can a parent buy it for me?
Yes. Anyone can pay, and the copy locks to the MX Simulator registration it first runs on, so install it on the rider's PC. The charge shows as MXS REBORN on the card statement.
Can I use it on another PC?
Yes, on any PC with the same MX Simulator registration. Download it again from your page and it activates for the same registration. It won't work with a different registration key.
Do I get updates?
Yes, free. The game tells you when an update is out, and you download it again from your page.

Can I get a refund?
Within 14 days, if your copy hasn't been activated yet, or if it won't run on your PC and we can't fix it. An activated copy that works can't be refunded. See the refund policy.
Troubleshooting and safety
I installed it but nothing changed
Check three things. The file must be named exactly opengl32.dll: if you downloaded it twice, your browser may have saved it as opengl32 (1).dll, so rename it. It must sit next to the game's .exe, not in a subfolder. And close the game fully before you copy it in, then start it again. When it's working, you'll find mxsreborn.log next to the file.
It says "MXS Reborn not activated". What now?
Make sure you're online and start the game again; it retries on every launch. If it says the copy is locked to another registration, or the problem persists, contact us.
Is it safe to download?
Downloads come only from this site over HTTPS, and each copy is made for your purchase. We never ask for your registration key, passwords or any personal files. The mod doesn't need admin rights to run.
Is this official?
No. MXS Reborn is an independent mod and isn't affiliated with MX Simulator's developer. Please contact us, not the game's developer, for support.
